UNIQUE ANTENATAL COURSES in Surrey

‘MY LITTLE BUBBLE’
offers a holistic approach to Birth and Post-Natal learning in Surrey

Nikki Barrow (Barile) a local birth professional in Farnham, owns and runs ‘my little bubble’, a successful Pregnancy, Birth and Post-Natal company offering Pregnancy & Post-Natal Yoga, Active Birth Workshops, Doula services and Baby Massage. Over the past 5 years, Nikki has been overwhelmed with positive feedback from students and clients declaring that her variety of knowledge and down to earth approach as a teacher, has enabled them to feel confident to approach the ‘birthday’ of their baby with excitement and positivity.

Nikki says “I am often told by my students that they have learned more from my classes and workshops than they have from other courses they have attended. My Antenatal Courses take a holistic approach to birth preparation – ‘Holistic’ meaning that attendees on the course, will be treated as individuals, and provided with information that is relevant to their needs, so they can make informed choices”.

The 3 and 5 week courses offered by ‘my little bubble’ will encompass fundamental Antenatal and Post-Natal education – which you would expect of any birth related course. However, in addition, women and their partners will not only learn valuable Active Birth techniques, but will practice a variety of Yoga breathing techniques, and discuss topics such as their Birth Rights and Birth Preferences (or Birth Plan).

A UNIQUE POINT OF DIFFERENCE: One of the most exciting and unique offerings of the 5 week course, is including the topic: ‘The 4th trimester’ (i.e. the first 3 months with your baby)

Nikki says: “As a Post-Natal *Doula I see women who have the same questions I had as a new mum, and these questions are not always discussed prior to the birth of your baby. If a mother doesn’t have support, these questions might go unanswered, and can cause anxiety. I think it’s important to talk about the physical and mental wellbeing of both parents post-birth, for example, how to deal with the lack of sleep that is inevitable when a new baby arrives, and to provide practical tips and tricks I have learned as a Doula. I will also include some easy, healthy recipes for the 4th trimester period too”.

There are many other thought provoking topics covered on this exciting new course!

Courses are available to book online now. To find out more about the courses offered, visit the website.
