Please note that I am based in Cornwall, on the North Coast in St Day, and I cannot courier my pools out. This is a local service for Homebirths in Cornwall.

I have 3 Birth Pools you can use for your Homebirth – 2 of the pools are ‘mini’ size and 1 pool is ‘regular’ size

They can be rented for 4-6 weeks depending on availability, usually people hire them from 38 weeks of Pregnancy-42 weeks approx, or until baby is born.

A new liner must be purchased for each individual user, for hygiene reasons. These can be purchased for about £30 each. I often have many of the additional pieces you might need…..such as: thermometer, sieve, plastic sheeting and sometimes an unused hose….. when you hire the pool, I will let you know what is included.

The pools come with: Pumps for filling and emptying, and tap adapters.

The pools are rented on a first come first served basis and often I get flurries of enquiries, so please reserve your pool if you can with some advance notice.

NOTE: COVID safe handover of pools – It is a requirement of hire to dispose of your liner yourself, then use a damp cloth and Milton/Dettol spray to clean the pool. Dry in between all creases of the inflated pool with a clean towel and leave to air, before deflating and folding up the pool. It is important the pool is completely dry before being packed away, otherwise mould can form in between each ring of the pool. There may be another user needing the pool imminently.

There is ideally then a period of 3 days where the pool will be checked and remain in ‘quarantine’ until the next hirer picks it up.
